Pushing the boundaries of the piano-guitar duo, Duo Réflections has been forging its own distinctive musical language since forming in 2017, inviting audiences into a world where time seems to stand still and magic unfolds in the moment. Their music is a warm, compelling dialogue — by turns intimate and expansive, sophisticated yet effortlessly playful — like a conversation between friends brought to life through music.

Their second album, La Tregua, released in 2025 on the Italian label Filibusta Records, features entirely original compositions and takes the duo’s distinctive sound a step further. With a heightened sense of interplay, they explore textures and rhythms, play with contrasts, and forge an increasingly cohesive and unmistakable collective sound. Recorded in a single day on analog tape, using just one stereo microphone, the album captures the music in its rawest, most immediate form: no edits, no overdubs, just a live performance preserving the energy, spontaneity, and intimacy of the moment.

Duo Réflections was named a 2025 Occijazz laureate, with support from partners including L’Astrada in Marciac. The duo also won the Jazz70 competition in Nîmes in 2020.
