JEROSZ
Minimalist electronic jazz / audiovisual performance
The assertive pulse and obsessive rhythms of the machines resonate with the timbral explorations of the saxophone. Percussive attacks, abrasive textures, discontinuous breaths, multiphonics, and growls sculpt the synthetic soundscapes, poised between minimalism and dissonance.
Through this audiovisual performance, musicians Stéphanie Furlan (saxophones, electronics), Elsa Martinez (synthesizers, sequencers), and digital artist Mayeul·e Toulemonde offer a contemplative experience with an evolving structure. A search for altered sounds engenders a trance-like state, echoing the aesthetics of improvised, jazz, and electronic music. Orchestrated by Mayeul·e, the reactive audio visuals (VJing) offer the audience a multi-sensory and immersive experience.
